Obituary for Carol Mazor

Carol Vivian Mazor (née Schachne) passed away on Saturday, August 20th from complications of Dementia. Her battle with the disease was lengthy and arduous but she fought valiantly until the very end to remain with those she loved. Carol was a strong, independent woman whose company always brought joy, warmth, and a smile. She will be forever missed by all that loved her. There is peace in knowing that she left this world as she wished; in her own bed, in her own home, in her daughter and caregiver Nancy's arms knowing she was VERY loved.

Carol loved life and lived it to its fullest even when it was at its most challenging, which is what made her a successful and beloved psychotherapist. She was deeply invested in helping her clients navigate their journeys toward greater happiness. Their gratitude, growth and joy is her proud legacy. As of course are the children and grandchild she leaves behind; her daughters Nancy and Suzanne, her son Peter Michael and her beloved granddaughter Avery.

Goodbye Sweet Mama
